Henry Charles Talarsky
Henry Talarsky's spirit left his body on October 30th but he remains forever in our hearts.

He was born in 1925 in Honey Pot, Pennsylvania, the only child of Agnes Ecker Talarsky and Adam Talarsky.

Henry graduated from the Grand Army of the Republic High School (GAR) in Wilkes Barre, PA. He served in the Army, stationed in Georgia during the time of World War II. With the passage of the GI Bill, Henry earned a BA degree from Bloomsburg College (Bloomsburg Univ.)

He taught at the Village for Epileptic Children in Skillman, New Jersey for 3 years. Then after working for the Okonite Cable Company for 12 years, he taught history for 30 years in the Edison School District where he formed many friendships.

Henry was predeceased by his parents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Pennsylvania.

Surviving are his wife Donna Chmara, daughter and son-in-law Andrea and David Yost, grandsons Hayden and Brenden Yost, adopted grandchildren Ewa and Arthur Koziar and Ania Pierzyk, cousins from the Piontkowski family in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania and relatives on his wife's side of the family in New Jersey, Connecticut, Canada, Poland and Belarus with whom he had warm relationships, including his nephew Mirek Proszynski who was at his side in time of need.

Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday November 5th at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, NJ followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Holy Trinity RC Church 100 Main Street, Helmetta, NJ.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be Sunday 2-6 p.m. at Monday 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Henry lived a life of kindness and love for family, friends and neighbors. He travelled in the U.S. and abroad, read many books, listened to much music, danced many dances to the Big Band sound and leaves no regrets. It was a good life. He is now one with the ages.
